We want to work for you! Projects Wanted for 5th Annual MANP Staff Volunteer Day

<We would like to volunteer our MANPower for a full day this summer to help one of our nonprofit member organizations. We support and value the work you do for the Maine nonprofit community and this is our way of saying thank you for all you do.

Here are the details: the MANP staff is available for one weekday this summer from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Our staff of eight will come to your organization and volunteer for the day to assist you with your proposed project. Projects can be outside or inside, and might include painting your office space, building a fence, yard work, or general office work. We will provide our own transportation to and from your location and welcome proposals from nonprofit members throughout the state.

Proposals should be no longer than one page and should include:

-Information about your organization including contact information for a member of your staff (phone number and email address) and project location
-Your organization's mission and how MANP volunteer hours would be useful
-A description of the job to be completed by MANP staff
-A date or variety of dates that would best suit your organization.

MANP members are encouraged to submit projects to Jessica Lantos via email by June 4, 2010. The lucky organization will be informed in mid June. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Lantos by calling 871-1885.
