How Do You Express to the Community the Unique and Important Work Your Nonprofit is Doing?

January 22, 2010

Two of the biggest challenges nonprofits face is figuring out how to differentiate themselves from other organizations and finding the resources they need to thrive. Three SkillBuilders this February will speak to this challenge. “Nonprofit Marketing Power: How to Gain Essential Response, Resources, and Support” focuses around how to market your organization using a mixture of new social media techniques and tried and true marketing principles. Participants will leave with a solid understanding of how to efficiently and effectively market their organization. The SkillBuilder “Lemonade from Lemons: Ramping up Fundraising When the Economy’s down” will help you sharpen your story-telling and garner financial support – despite the downturn in the economy. The third and final SkillBuilder, “The Art of Networking,” will discuss how to network effectively – you’ll learn how to work the room, convey the importance of your organization, and build your donor base in the process. Join us this February to learn the skills your nonprofit needs to effectively establish a solid and distinguished presence in the nonprofit community.
