New/Emerging Leadership Event!

Whether you’re new to the sector, a nonprofit veteran seeking to become an Executive Director, or a newly appointed board member, this day-long SkillBuilder event is for you. The event is taking place on Tuesday, January 26^th from 9:00 – 4:00 pm at ­­­­­­­Unum in Portland, and will be composed of four half-day workshops. Individuals who sign up for the full day will receive a discount ($80/members, $160/nonmembers) and will be provided with lunch.

The four workshops include how to thrive (targeted towards first-time Executive Director’s) despite forces of change, the skills that are necessary for someone looking to become an Executive Director, how to build a volunteer program that recruits the next generation of leadership, and what a prospective board members needs to keep in mind.
